Although I agree with your conclusion, I DO think banks represent significant risk in the next few years if US housing market indeed drop another 20% from here. underwater homeowners will increase from 25% to 40% of all households in that case. A lot of people will choose strategic default at that point, which will post dire consequences to the banking sector. All those scenarios could play out when the current stock bull market run out of gas, which in Cobra's estimate could have another 12 months' life.

That's only happening if jobless rate is out of watch,  but from what we saw in past 6 months,  the employment status is in positive momentum.

So I won't take too bearish view at banking sectors, especailly BAC , JPM, WFC, USB
