Don't agree. A lot of institutional traders (not analyst) are "retired" athletes. I don't think education give much edge in stock trading.

I just went to a job fair sponsored by one company. There are 8 positions with more than 300 applicants. This means that only top 3% can get the job. So in today's market, the most important thing is to keep your job.
