I have been wondering the similar problem. To me, Chinese trader in US are almost all very well educated. Does education give you any edge in stock trading? I guess we are educated to be patient to read long analysis and have some expertise at least in one field where we studied or working for right now. Majority of american, aka american traders, don't have the above two, right?

You are a good statistics expert. It'll be meaningful if you can 统计 HT 高手的市场趋势判断 and the real market's chart. Something like 《群众摸底》chart.  xx% said market up and xx% said market down.

这里的统计其实跟很多因素有关, 比如入市时间段, 这非常重要, 如果这个统计在1999-2000年做的, 估计结果会大不一样. 而现在做统计, 大多数股市玩客都是2000以来开始入市, 肯定大多数都亏了,  ...
