我的IB账号终于开好了

选了DDM Stock SMART USD DDM,  买25股DDM at 72, 同时attach了一个limit sell at 78和一个stop at 66.

I didn't trade every day. But I watched market every two hour. When I found big chance to win, I focused and traded. So my company didn't know that. I usually worked a little late when I traded stocks at trading day to make sure that my work still fine.

我买了25股，IB好像还是收了我一块钱的手续费呢，所以每股的手续费成本就变成了4分钱。

This is much cheaper than that you use Postbank in Germany, isn't it?

Later I would like to ask you for your help for opening an account in IB; and I would like to suggest Lao Hai also to do the same to play American stocks, like me, he can work daily and play stocks in the evening.

嗯，我用IB炒美股，用德国的账号买基金。

IB现在的开户账号要求最低1万美元。不过，有些人开户之后就又把钱转出去了，只留一小部分。呵呵。

I am in Switzerland. I am thinking to do it as I do not have much time to do European stocks and I have many meeting almost everyday.

I went to IB page and read some information but what it is not clear for me is how we pay tax, how fast the IB is, and if we are allowed to run day trading. I may call the help desk for more information.

Your experiences are very useful and important for us. Thanks for your sharing.

我也看了IB的资讯. 用过Daytrade-->Ameritrade-->TD-->Scottrade. 想买法的LVMH. 都没办法. 又不愿意开E-Trade. IB好像可以.

我申请的时候，他们让填住址，非美国公民，又不拿绿卡，并且不住在美国的，就不用交美国的税。申请的步骤里面会有一个免纳税的表格要填。然后你就要提供身份证明材料和居住地材料，这些都可以扫描下来用Email附件发给他们。

至于DT, 我自己也没有完全弄清楚呢，我现在的账号说：
Trading Limits Day Trades Left (T,...,T+4)

谁给解释一下是什么意思？我好像看到过有人说，账号在2万5以下，DT限制是5天3次（或者3天5次？）。账号在2万5以上，就没有次数限制了。不知道是不是？

IB是5天三次。TDA和ETRADE是5天4次。2万5没限制。哎，俺的Roth IRA啥时候才能到2万5呢？
