Area of vulnerability?
Today's second chart shows our M Cycle with the NYA's Momentum. You will see, that when the Momentum broke a support, hit below 100, AND had the M Cycle in Negative territory ... then the NYA pulled back or corrected for at least 3 weeks. This happened 7 out of 7 times since August of 2007.
So why mention this? Because the NYA's Momentum is very close to a major 4 and 12 month support line with the M Cycle very close to the zero line.
Why pay any attention to this? Because it has been a reliable down pattern if the "support break and M Cycle" pattern occurs together. The potential downside risks should not be ignored in the course of one's investing. Do we know if this pattern will break to the downside? NO ... all we know is that we are on the dangerous edge of something we need to be aware of, and that is why I am bringing it to your attention.
