不过撇开这个奖项不谈，美国黑人还是挺厉害的，又团结。想想我们华人，大陆的南方的北方的台湾的香港的越南的，大家谁都不抱团自己人掐来掐去，我们这辈子能看到一个美国华人总统大概是人类的奇迹了。就冲这这个08拿个nobel prize也没啥，他是人类的精英总是没错的。

In fact, there could be another interpretation, i.e. Not only US people has put much hope on him to recover world's new order, also the world, esp. EU needs a big boss to take charge and they can just follow.

EU will never be willingly to  accept China or other for the world leadership.

On the other side, although O8 has only 9 months in office, EU would like to by this way to force him to take effort to recover the world's order. Otherwise USA will lose its face enormously. Remember YES WE CAN?

Indeed, Nobel Prize is more and more a political leverage.
