Hi, Wave Laoda:
Thank you very much for such a good chart. My questions to you, are:
1) From the $NYSI chart, are we similar to the Rally of Jan 2001 or the Rally of April 2003?
Personally, I prefer it is Jan 2001. Then, SPX will be pulled back around to 815-825. After that it will go back to 930-960, which it is above MA200. Then it will fall down again as history tells me.
2) How did you overlay these two charts together?

To answer your question:

1) It is similar like 2001 or worse.  Because of the scale of this Bear market is much larger than last Bear Market.  And the duration may just of the bear market may just on the middle way.

2) How to overlay?
At "indicators" sector, choose price, and change "parameters" to $SPX  and select "position" as "behind price"
then you have overlay chart.

我倒是倾向于熊

不过觉得第一个图。。。。对我来说看着有点奇怪。

似乎可以理解成一个头肩底的结构 （不过又不象，不标准，不过倒是有HL, HH) 如果那样，仅仅是短暂回调，还有上面的空间。从图上看想比于07还创了新高，似乎解释成看多也有道理。

不过，从你的图中我发现2007年4月也出现了一个连续红杠杠的拐点，
但奇怪的是指数短期内不但没有跌，反而是慢慢爬升的。多谢你把NYSI

April 2007 was still in a bull market. That's why the different direction of NYSI and SPX. Now we are in a bear market.
