i think your timing has a problem. usually buying options before ER is costly, especially with high expected volatility. making easy is not that easy, hehe

I agree with you, the only reason I bought put yesterday was, I had an very strong upward bias towards fslr and thought it will pop another 10% (as I was always wrong, so this time as well).  Had I been right, I would gain more today with my call + put, than yesterday I close my call.

It was a game time decision, which I will not do it anymore.

yeah, implied vol too high the day before ER.  From what I learned in books, should buy options 1week before ER.   some ppl only play volatility, buy 1 week before ER, then sell before ER.

JAN15 OE,CREE大跌的,不记得啥原因,也没看出来CREE 需要PIN STRIKE PRICE. JAN19 DOJI,晚上GOOD ER,JAN20大跳高.
