"Option Expiration Week Similarities Continue
In a post yesterday, we highlighted how this month's expiration week was starting off much in the same way that May's options expiration week progressed. Heading into Friday, we see that the similarities over the last two trading days have continued. In both months, the S&P 500 started off both options expiration weeks with three down days and then rallied 1% on Thursday. Both weeks also traded within a 40 point range as well. Unfortunately for the bulls, however, in May the week ended with another decline of 1% on Friday." |
