definitely sell coveredcall is better.

For example,

if you bot BAC at 17,  now it is at 16.
    if you sell 17 covered call for 35cents, you gain 35 cents no matter what.
    if you buy 15 PUT, well, if in the end, bac close between 15 and 16, you lose another 35 cents.

The difference is 70 cents, that is a lot.

well, if you believe bac will drop to 14 or low, that is a different story

谢谢，我是option 新新手，我想问call 1个是cover 100 shares, 必须有多少shares 就卖对应的call，不能多卖，对吧？. 如果有些个股很贵，比如goog, 如果只有90share, 那怎么卖covered call??

这个有Level限制的。

一般的帐号，只能Sell Covered Call。必需有股票在帐号。
