强烈推荐第6到9章。非常informative。看完后我做了一点research.

以前的老美元是金元券，银元券, 上面印着”this certificate that there is on deposit in the treasury of the united state of america one dollar in silver/gold payable to the bearer on demand"

翻译成中文，意思是：我，美国财政部长 xxx, 证明在美国国库里存放着价值一美元的黄金/白银，可以付给持券者。
