SDS, DVD, QID all hit 1 year low.  Today, starting to short  as planned:

QID, SRS, SDS, 1/3 position.  Be patient is the key.

I hope you did not touch this 2X ETF. If you bet on small pull back, the market is very strong now. You shall wait. If you bet market is topped? Then what if you were wrong? Even it flats for a month, your ultra stuff will lose money. why not try small position of SH, PSQ etc? If the trend confirmed, you can add more. If not, take a small loss or just hold them. SPY 94.5 is not the lowest point in next two months.

Remember March 6?  All HH were saying:"It is too early to long at 666, S&P will see 600 or at least 650 first!"           
In this market, you never know.  Cut loss and control the cash are the keys.  By the way, shorted AMZN again today 83.44.  Has made a few $$$ since shorted at ~82 ...

think it is ok to short AMZN at 85.

But I would not do it, AMZN drops too slowly, even last time when SPY was 666, I think AMZN was ~60.

There are many better shorts out there.
