Is BMW laoda running a fund? How to join?

Is BMW laoda running a fund? Anyone knows? How to join? Is there a minimum requirement? (I don't have much money, maybe just 10K.) Is he still testing his fund or is he running that actively now?

For a hedge fund, individual investor need to be "sophisticated" and "high net worth". Usually you need 2 million net worth/liquid assets, and/or making 200k (250k?)/year for the past x years. The entry ticket is usually at least $250k for small funds to $25million for some large, successful funds. Don't know if his fund is a HF tho.

If you only have 10k investment capital you need to play safe play small.

2, all of client money are in their individual account in IB, I have no access to those money except trading. They are the only one who can control the money and can pull their money out @ anytime
3, they can watch every trade I made in their account real time, they have access to all trading history and statement every day.
4, My partner and I are paid purely based on performance no regular charge at all.

there are different license for qualified investement advisors. different state have different regulation about how many client account and how much totally you can manage.

such as in VA I can manage 10, but in TX I can only do 5 on fee-basis.

Again, my suggestion for everyone who is currently investing in a fund, make sure you have access to all of trading record on daily basis and make sure your money is not pooled together but in your own account and you have full access to those money. Pull out your gain regularly and don't be greedy

If you do that, based on my knowledge, you should be safe from those Ponzi scam which always is a black box, you don't know how they are doing and you have no full control over your money.

IB 有这种功能吗？不是只要能登陆进入账户就可以进行 Fund Management 吗？得去研究一下。要是可以，我的账户也让别人去管。

Yes, I can only trade, clients are the only ones who can make deposit and withdraw.

it is done by I control a master trading account and make allocation profile to distribute orders in clients. say I made a buy order for 100 ES contracts, it will be allocated within the 6 accounts I am currently managing.

It is very standard precedure in Interactivebrokers.

BTW, the smallest account I am managing is 100k, there is no requirement for 0.5M. 100K basically is confortable amount to trade 10 ES contracts in IB
