B. of A. close to $8.5 bln MBS settlement

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Bank of America Corp. /quotes/zigman/190927/quotes/nls/bac BAC +3.60% is close to reaching a $8.5 billion settlement with a group of investors that lost money on mortgage-backed securities bought before the U.S. housing collapse, the Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday on its website. If finalized, the payment would be the largest such agreement in the industry so far, the newspaper said. The settlement would bring an end to a nine-month fight with a group of 22 investors that combined hold more than $56 billion in mortgage-backed securities, according to the newspaper. The investors include BlackRock Inc., MetLife Inc. and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, it said

same here, whenever i want to hold positions for long term, i lose money. Unfortunately I was chickened out in 2009 :( and missed the big rally...

BAC不会马上就涨上去的。。。

我不是说它有多不好，事实上，我13块多的时候就开始买了。。。

这种股票押箱底儿吧，不用那么费劲看着，7-8年后等孩子上大学的时候再看。
