it is not that simple. Fed's financing is unlimited. Big banks (prime dealers) will turn around to provide hedge funds (their customers) very attractive margin (financing too). The liquidity driven rally will go on, until inflation catch up - Fed raise rate. No other way out. Until we see inflation explode, the market will keep moving higher.
No regulation reform after the crisis, meaning market will repeat what happend after Greenspan lowered interest in 2003, just quicker, and higher. |
