I couldn't log into my trading account. The last time got into account was this afternoon. Could you let me know if you have the same problem if you have a Zecco account?

I got a margin call today. Is that the reason? I am so frustrated, I did not get chance to clear some positions this afternoon.

It's a "daytrade margin call", which is really strange to me. At this moment I actually only have a few k in stocks and options, and more than 20k in cash, yet I was issued a "daytrade margin call". Can anyone help me understand this call? Is every broker have this? I am considering switch brokers, I heard good things for both IB and thinkorswim, any comment?

however, every broker has some limitations, read the small print!

this is somebody using scottrade

美国有一条规定，就是做日间交易账户资金必须在2万5千美元以上，否则只能允许4天内做3次日间交易，如果违反了规定，超出3次，90天冻结融资融券账户。

I opened a sogo account, and now I appreciate zecco more.

zecco has a lot of advantages over sogo, even sogo sounds cheaper $3/trade.

Actually, zecco is cheaper than sogo in many cases.
