Short is necessary for many reasons, for example, many WS firms requires all overnight positions to be hedged. Without short, such (long) position would not exist at all.
short is ok.
nake short is not good for general investors.
If you check the volume you will know in the past ,the total volume almost the company
stock floating in market.
