Looking at the unemployment rate, we are at about the same level as July 1982, and during that time, the unemployment rate went up to almost 11% in the next 4 months. Guess what happened to the S&P 500?
It recovered all the previous losses in Oct. 1982, two months before the unemployment rate peaked!!!
Isn't that crazy?
I think there will probably be more people talking about the history during that era soon.
