I was in China for 2 weeks and couldn't access hutong9 nor any sites hosted by blogspots.com directly. The best way to get around such problem is to either set up your own computer overseas accepting incoming connections. Assuming you are running windows xp or higher, then you could use RDP to log into your computer from China and browse from there. If security is a concern, then use Putty + OpenSSH.

Having said all that, what really counts is a fast internet connection in China. Otherwise it won't do you much good even if you have everything else set up.
