everyone is bashing Dapi, we frogs should be really careful,
1. If you hold lots long already and are very profitable, you can add more or do whatever, because you have the 资格 like DaoLuan always said.
2. If you hold some short/PUT and are losing money, do not add more so quickly. You have to prepare for the worst, say if you have money to short more at spy 1000? I made this mistake in Feb-March, I kept adding long during 7xx for all the drops, when it dropped to 6xx, I lost almost 50%, so I lost 50% buying power too and I even did not have much margin left(Calls, BAC no margin allowed that time). Another thing for bears is that right now you should just keep patient, do not remove your short position so quickly. I had twice bought SKF around 100 for more than 1000shares, I remember both dropped to 80s at the lowest, I sold for a very little profit because I was afraid of the decay, but both time after one or two months later it rocketed to 200s and 270s.
3. If you do not have much position, I suggest you do not buy and hold much long positions now, For many individual stocks, it would be easily drop 20-30%from current level even index not dropping much, then you may need 30-40% to get even.
