Speculation (for a gap up tomorrow) is just a small part within a trading plan.  It's imperative that we must follow signals to trade.

It was just a very tiny fish that I caught today.  What I care about the most is a very big fish that I am planning to catch over next few weeks.  I plan to purchase up to 500 PUTs for that one in 2 stages.

Both of your scenarios aren't what I concern about because everything goes by what my signals tell me to do.  Right now, ST/MT signals haven't shown solid sign of bears approaching yet.  So, I'll wait until then.  For now, I will swing up/down in both directions for quick gains.
