reverse split means, normally, more room to go down.

I would think it's not a bad idea to short them, if you can borrow from your broker.
But hard to borrow, it's well-known.

I tried to short it today but there are no shares available...
Hopefully we can find its inverse counterpart one day.

There were many previous discussions on this ETF. The conclusion was simple: short the ETF will make $$$ anyway. Hence, no one longs and no shares to borrow.

Mathematically, it's really fun.

Exactly! But 5.0X recently is the lowest price and if we got long we still could make money.
Human emotions are also funny as VIX that wall street made......
