USO和DUG的不同之处

很多人认为USO和DUG应该反向走，实际上这两个东西是两码事。

DUG很大程度上是short西方石油公司，而国际石油产出主要是掌握在国家石油公司手里，而且根据合约，油价越高，西方石油公司的份额油就越少，而大家也知道，投资西方石油公司，最重要的一项指标就是“xx公司还剩多少油”。

所以，很多石油大牛是long oil，long oil service，但却不long oil companies，就是这个道理。

you are right, DTO is better. It's intended to reflect the performance of crude oil at 2x short.

具体到每天涨跌上就不好说了，我是针对好多人惊讶为什么USO和DUG同向而写的。如果你要长线long energy，long oil，long gas，IMHO，就是不要去long oil company。西方石油公司没有石油，period。

In addition, try to avoid UNG. It's very anoying when filing tax return. UNG is not a normal ETF, it's some thing called LLC, so a special form is needed for tax return.
