考虑到美国当前的政治气象，这时候让股市有一个成规模的调整（15-20%, SPX 1100附近），则是必要的：

1）有助于松动茶党议员反对提高Federal Debt Limit的决心。参见TARP投票
2）有助于缓解QE2结束后国债无人接盘的窘境（逼股市的钱进债市）
3）有助于营造急需QE3的环境和气氛

时间点上，本轮调整会持续到8月2日前1~2周。

所谓：欲想取之，必先与之 - 欲擒故纵是也！

If the ceiling is not raised by 8/2, only one choice will be left: U.S. debt default.

As to political view, just my guess... Time will tell the truth.

if politicians screw themself, who cares about what's politiically right here, hehe.
congress will keep dancing, like the fake vote. two months in a hurricane season and not so peaceful world, if they are caught by a surprise, then boom...
