The company is still majority owned by Dell (NYSE:DELL) with its financial results consolidated into Dell's accounts, and Dell and VMware (NYSE:VMW) are still helping with sales and product development . The market is growing substantially as more and more companies embark on the digital transformation and move to the cloud.

PVTL will NOT be a super star,  but it can be a good choice for value investing (with good reward/risk ratio).

there is a big swing:  -6% before market and now in green (new flat). Momentum is gradually built up.  People start looking into the hidden value.
