There is just no "one method fits all".
I have two kids, with in same family everything, they are sooooo different. My elder kid seems having a lot talent, always got the trophy almost every competition, the little one most got are tears. But the elder quited piano in middle school, the little one just keeps going even we told it's too much to handle in high school.

90% kids quit piano in high school, 99% kids quit in college. A few kids really enjoy it.

That's true. Every one is capble of playing piano for fun. Since  college life is so rich, who would sit down and practice piano regularly ?

totally agree.

if she/he doesn't enjoy it, what's the point?
after all, 99.999% of people don't make a living on playing piano.

基本是浪费金钱精力，奢侈的尝试。练好了也没有多少登台的机会。许多人固执的让自己相信不学钢琴就不能培养气质

会弹吉它，会欣赏音乐就可以了。
